Lisa, that is such a precious invitation extended to us all - Come to the Table. Like you, it is through repeated words and Scriptures crossing my path that the Lord uses to speak to me. May we keep on inviting others to His Table as there is yet room. Blessings!
Thank you for adding value to this conversation about the table… God’s table. I highly respect you as a sister in Christ and as a writer. Thank you for continuing to share God’s word and truth digitally and for providing a weekly link up. I’m continually encouraged by you and your writing.
There’s still room at the table! I’ll be seeing you there…
Love the vision of Come to the Table. This past year I've been impressed to pray for my cousins nightly that they might accept the invitation to come to the table. I feel strongly I should not give up. I want to see them at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
So beautiful and stirring. A similar prophecy… Prophetic word was spoken over me and our Wednesday night spiritual life class. The woman who gave it said Ruth this is for you. She spoke of a beautiful table. Decorated with elegant place settings. I’ve had all the delicious foods that I enjoy. And Jesus was inviting me to the table. He walked me to the table. He sat me at the table. He laid the napkin in my lap. Similarly to what you’ve said, Lisa. He knows me. He loves me. He cherishes me and he spread this special table for me in his presence to enjoy.
Luke 14:10 ... wow! I never thought of that passage in the light of waiting for the feast ... Blew. My. Mind. I usually hear from the Holy Spirit during my Bible times, but He also reminds me to turn off the oven, turn on my directional while driving, and feed the cats ... I will take the lowest seat as I come to his table when reading the Bible, when attending church, while having a spiritual discussion with someone. Thank you for a fresh insight!
Thank you Rachel for participating in this pondering conversation. Thank you for adding value by adding your perspective of communion at the table and the way Holy Spirit is speaking to you.🌸🌿
Perfect timing for me to read your post! I just began to reread a couple of favorite encouragements-Henri Nouwen’s Life of the Beloved and Tony De Melo’s The Way to Love. Both of them touch my tender place with Jesus’ Embrace. I picked them up today because I watched a couple of talks that Tim Keller gave at a men’s conference in 2015 at the New Canaan Society. I’m full and overflowing with the words I heard and read about the Love of God just because of the Love of God for us. Thank you for underlining the welcome and come from the lips of Jesus!!! Blessings and Love ~~Carolyn …ate nos encontrarmos outra vez
Awww, Carolyn, it's so good to "see" you here. Thank you for letting me know God is speaking to you of His great for you - you are His beloved! I'm always so excited when I realize that God is speaking in multiple ways and connecting us - his children - in His family conversations. Much love to you, my friend! Thank you for your encouragement and love for me. May God bless you with all you need in Him. Eyes on Jesus and Shine!

Ah, Jerralea, that’s beautiful!! I agree with you… don’t give up on your cousins or God. You are encouraging me as well.
Let us pray for our loved ones and anticipate God’s kindness and love towards each one.

Yes, my friend! He’s invited you and you’re His cherished lady.💝
What a gift to have this prophetic word spoken over you twice in this season of your faith journey.
Eyes on Jesus… you shine, friend 🌸🌿
Amen and hallelujah!
